East Texas Community Health Services, Inc. serves Nacogdoches and the surrounding counties, providing primary care for medical and dental services. In addition to primary care, ETCHSI also provides management of chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes and high blood pressure, immunizations for children and adults, family planning, dental services, on-site limited pharmacy, diabetes education, lab tests, mental health counseling, preventative health and screening tests, and a referral department.

Our Board/Nationally Certified Physicians, PAs and NPs plus Dentists and Dental Hygienists, along with our experienced support staff, work hard to provide high-quality services to community members of all ages, from babies to teens and adults to seniors. We participate in nation-wide programs to reduce the impact of chronic diseases. This program helps us provide the best diabetes care available and teaches people to take control of their chronic diseases, rather than allowing the diseases to control them.

Our Services

East Texas Community Health Services provides timely, affordable healthcare to individuals and families living in and around Nacogdoches County, Texas. We are committed to serving people of all ages and backgrounds with special attention to your personal healthcare needs. We offer a wide range of primary care services provided by a dedicated team of physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, nurses, social workers, and support staff.

Our services are available for persons with health insurance such as Medicaid, Medicare, and private health plans. We offer a generous sliding fee schedule for persons who are under-insured or have no insurance based on the household income and family size.

This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n) and an FTCA deemed facility.
